Math Notebook Success Criteria

Below is a list of expectations for students’ Math Notebooks:

Math Notebook Success Criteria:

  • Title, underline your title, and date each new lesson/page;
  • ALWAYS use a pencil to record lessons, and complete math work;
  • Record page numbers and questions numbers of math homework in margin;
  • Upon completion of textbook or worksheet activities YOU MUST MARK YOUR WORK and correct any incorrect work using the answers in the back of the textbook;
  • Use both sides of the notebook pages;
  • SHOW ALL OF YOUR WORK/STEPS IN YOUR SOLUTIONS;
  • Be neat … you need to be able to read your work to help you study for test/quizzes;
  • Any work missed due to absences is expected to be completed (unless arrangements made with the teacher).
